...what with a Prairie Viking staying with us and some other odds and ends (including a TV spot for yours truly - though I'm not sure exactly when this will get online). Moggy and I are both pretty wiped but I wanted to share one thing. Mainly because I've been looking for a complete version of the song for quite some time and finally stumbled across it on Youtube. Go figure.
If you don't know the Canadian animated flick Rock & Rule this might not mean much to you, but I am, truly, a big suck for this song and the movie in general. And it's sung by Debbie Harry, too. I should add that she covered the song as Maybe For Sure on the album Def, Dumb and Blonde. If it seems familiar and you don't know the movie, that's probably why!
While I generally stick to Celtic Punk for my listening pleasure (yay Pogues!), I have major soft spots for all kinds of genres (hell, the Prairie Viking and I were sitting in Ottawa's legendary Dominion Tavern yesterday afternoon listening to country music (which is traditional in the afternoon) before it switched over to some punk and ska. While I'm not a huge country fan, they were playing good stuff, something The Dom is pretty damn renowned for regardless of genre).
So yeah, here's to good friends who we don't get to see that often, some Debbie Harry tunes, and a fantastic Canadian flick that doesn't get the respect it deserves.

...just finished up second year at Algonquin's Animation program. He doesn't post to his blog all that often (then again, who am I to point fingers?!), but he just updated it with all kinds of design work that he's done.
Good stuff so you might wanna go take a look for yourself. And, if you're so inclined, maybe give him some props. He's worked awfully hard.

First, if you haven't added
animatorj yet, why not? I think he'll be motivated to post more (including art) if he has people adding him. I am cunning!
Also, did you get your banjo yet? You know you want one!
And, lastly, please go and friend
