I was on the bus coming home tonight and my cell phone started to vibrate. I glanced down at it and saw that it was my specialist calling.

Huh. Interesting.

So, while I never, ever answer my cell on the bus or in stores...I answered it.

And guess who's getting (hopefully) all fixed up and cut open and operated and set right finally almost two months ahead of schedule?

That's right...ME! My original surgery date was November 6th and now it's...

SEPTEMBER 11th!

Yeah, I know, not the best choice of dates historically but...two months shaved off the waiting is just incredible. TWO MONTHS! And life does go on...good things will keep happening on that date and I really hope this is one of them.

Two weeks tomorrow. Two weeks. I should be up and about and remembering the ole Moggy by the end of September.

I could CRY!

I wouldn't normally be so happy about getting cut open but...the alternative isn't much fun. I've lived the alternative. I'm sick of the alternative. Really, really sick of it.

*goes back to dancing*
