Von and Moggy - Two things!

Two things!

First, I've set-up a specific site for the road to god knows.... The domain right now is at http://the-road-to-god-knows.blogspot.com/ but that should redirect to a specific subdomain on my own site in the very near future. The big question right now is whether I've covered all my bases or if I'm missing a piece of information - especially pertinent if you've never heard of me or the book before and would like to learn more. So, should I add anything?

Second, Mare Biddle posted some extremely lovely comments about my book over on her blog. Go take a look if you get a chance, ok?

Looking it over again, I think you should put the "where to buy" info at the bottom higher up in that bottom area. But I think you definitely covered everything. :)

I think it's a wonderfully informative website. I can't think of a graphic novel promo site I've seen that was more helpful.

Thanks very much for that, Lee. While I realize that first books rarely get great sales, the one thing I can do is present the book and information about the book in as forthright a way as possible and then see how it goes. Not everyone is going to like it (and some hate it - yikes!) but such is life.

Wow! What a jackass! Clearly not a fan. I'm so sorry. Hopefully his is far from the going opinion. Personally, I think it's very warm and special. I guess some people aren't open to anything different.

Yeah, it was weird. It's also the only review s/he has written on Amazon, so they went out of their way to go after me. I'm surprised they didn't add, "and he's ugly, too!" It bugged me for one day and then I moved on. Fortunately, most other people are reviewing it quite well, and while it's still early in the process, I'm really heartened that I don't even know some of the people who've given very positive Amazon reviews. :)

Thanks for saying you found it very warm and special - that's a very nice thing to hear.
